211 Contact Concern of Northeast Tennessee is a non-profit telephone helpline ministry established in 1976.

Dial 2-1-1 for information/referral for free access to health & human services in Sullivan, Hancock, Hawkins or Johnson Counties.  Cell phones should dial (423) 246-CARE.  Services include:

• Comprehensive information and referrals on services available to those in need in our community
• Crisis intervention (assisted by area professionals)
• Daily reassurance calls to those who live alone.
• Answering services for area agencies.
• A trained volunteer who provides a caring and listening ear to those in need.

Hours are 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. (365 days each year).

In order to apply for service with Hawkins County Gas, customers must appear in our office with a valid picture id.  The application may be printed from this website, but can no longer be mailed to our offices.

Hawkins County Imagination Library provides a book per month to registered children under the age of 5 in Hawkins County.  Please make a donation during the "Adopt a Child" pledge drive to show your support.

• Two children  $30 per year
• Three children  $45 per year
• Five children  $75 per year
• 16 children  $250 per year
• 33 children  $500 per year
• Any amount!

There are still over 2000 children under the age of 5 in Hawkins County that are unfunded for this program.
